Prepare Your Domain

Before transferring your domain to Braysons, you need to unlock it at your current registrar and obtain the EPP/Auth code. This code authorises the transfer.
Unlock your domain
Log in to your current registrar and disable the "Registrar Lock" or "Transfer Lock" on your domain.
Get the EPP/Auth code
Request the EPP/Authorization code from your registrar. It is usually emailed to the domain's admin contact.
Verify admin email
Ensure the admin email on your domain WHOIS record is accessible — transfer approval emails are sent there.
Check transfer eligibility
Domains must be at least 60 days old and not transferred in the last 60 days to be eligible for transfer.
Important: Do not let your domain expire during the transfer process. Renew it at your current registrar if it expires within 30 days.

Will my website go offline during migration?

No. Most registrars add 1 year to your existing expiry date when you transfer. You never lose time you have already paid for.
